The latest addition to the Spiritual Destinations in Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh, is the TAPOVANAM at Pedda Baadaam Village in Vajrapu Kothur Mandal , about 5 Km from Palasa Town.
Inaugurated on 30th November 2012, Pujya Parameswarananda Giri Swamiji , is developing the Tapovanam on the lines of Ancient Ashrams of the great Sages of Hindu Culture. With the Divine Ordinance of his Parama Pujya Himalayan Amara Guru - Shri Mahavatar Babaji - Parameswaranandaji is working tirelessly to complete the Ashram at the earliest.
The first Anniversary of the Tapovanam was celebrated on 30th November 2013., and the second Anniversary on 30th November 2014. Thousands of Devotees from all over the District participated in the Rituals, followed by Anna Daanam. Many of the Hindu Dharmika Organisations like Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Patanjali Yog Peeth, Uttarandhra Sadhu Parishath, Viswa Hindu Parishath (VHP), Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh (RSS), Hindu Dharma Raksha Samithi, Krushnam Vande Jagadgurum etc participated in the services to the Devotees.
